Using pure polyethylene terephthalate in electrical grade to make through biaxial oriented stretching in environment of no dust, the film has characteristics as following: • High tensile strength; • Large dielectric constant; • High thermal withstand; • Low dielectric dissipation factor; • Good uniformity of thickness; • Many excellent electric properties, such as high electrical resistance and high voltage withstand etc. It is stretched in biaxial orientation by mean of flat film method by using imported polyethylene terephthalate in electrical grade. Being characterized by high tensile strength and dielectric constant, low dielectric dissipation factor, high uniformity of film thickness, excellent electric property, high electrical resistance and etc, it is widely used as capacitor dielectric and insulation layer. It is mainly used in metalized-film capacitor and foil type capacitor, such as energy-saving lamp capacitor, DC capacitor and etc.
