XMQ falling ball test machine—enables to generate spalling, breakage or other surface effect in a relatively short time by exerting many an impact between the steel balls. The frequency of machine shooting down balls is controlled automatically by digital display, thus, there is no need to hire someone to take care of it. When the grinding ball suffers serious spalling or breakage, the machine will stop running to ensure the accuracy of impact failure frequency record, even after the accurate record of the impact frequency of grinding ball in the experiment is added or deleted. Thus, in the conditions of controlled laboratory, the large-scale experiment in which falling ball impacts to spalling is conducive to better understand the production mechanism of spalling and breakage of grinding balls so as to formulate countermeasures to reduce their occurrence.
