Description

Kelly Kellys are made from 4145H modified alloy steel in accordance with API Spec.7-1 latest edition, They are formed by hot foreged, quenched and tempered along full length to gain high phsical properties. All threads are phosphated, copperized or cold worked, and all kellys’ connectons are fitted with pressed steel thread protectors on both ends. We supply square kelly and hexagonal kelly. Lifting Subs Lifting Subs are made from 4145H alloy steel, that are heat-treated according to drill collar specification to ensure a hardness range of 285-341 Brinell. Charpy “V” notch minimum impact strength of 40 ft-lb at 700F are guaranteed one inch below the surface. All connections are phosphate or coppered coating to minimize galling on initial make-up and drilling operation. Short drill collars Short drill collars are made from AISI 4145H alloy steel. Acc. To API spec.75-20 feet in length. All threads are phosphate, copperized or cold worked.
