The 3DLevelScanner MV, manufactured by APM, maps the whole surface area of different types of bulk solid stored within the large silos, open bins and stock piles. The containers have a diameter that are up to 15m or 49 ft while their height are up to 70 m/ 230 ft. The scanner makes accurate measures of the level and volume of the contents. It integrates APM's proprietary non-contact dust-penetrating unit helping it to surpass the harsh and dusty environment no matter what type of material is being stored. The APM software offers a 3D representation of the contents involving material buil-up and other irregularities that form over time.
