Description

• For use with StepSERVO Drives to create closed loop motor and drive systems • StepSERVO technology featuring space vector current control • NEMA 11 frame size • Boost (peak) torque of 25-50% higher than holding torque • Built-in 1024-line (4096 count/rev) magnetic encoder enables high performance, closed-loop control StepSERVO Motors combine with StepSERVO Drives to create closed loop motor and drives systems. The HT11-SS1DM is a high torque step motor with integral 1024-line (4096 count/rev) incremental encoder. The high resolution encoder is used for closed loop servo control to attain highly accurate position and velocity control. The HT11-SS1DM is specifically designed for use with the following StepSERVO Drives: SSDC03 StepSERVO Drive with multiple control options including EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, CANopen and RS-485 • SS03-EC-D StepSERVO Drive with EtherCAT StepSERVO technology combines the high torque capabilities of a step motor with the closed loop dynamic control of a servo system. The result is a motion control solution that operates quietly and efficiently, requiring only the minimum amount of current to maintain commanded position and velocity. Boost (or peak) torque that is higher than the rated holding torque increases the limits of acceleration, leading to faster cycle times and greater throughput. StepSERVO systems can be applied in applications where traditional step motors cannot achieve the high levels of accuracy and performance required. NOT included: • Compatible drive (required), see StepSERVO Drives below • Motor extension cable (recommended), see Accessories below • Encoder extension cable (recommended), see Accessories below
