By using our power distribution units (PDUs), connector strips for the integration in 19-inch rack systems, you will receive a structured power distribution which also gives you the possibility to controll costs: Connected and controlled via network, apra’s intelligent PDUs enable the measurement of current, voltage, power, energy consumption as well as temperatures and thus an optimized management of your data center. By measuring the energy flows you as the operator can keep an eye on the energy consumption of each IT component and identify potential savings. The permanent differential current monitoring also enables the early detection of fault currents in order to detect and avoid data losses, the failure of networks and dangers to humans caused by electrical current. Our PDUs can be configured individually. This way you can decide on the type and number of electrical inputs and outputs and define the desired functions, such as measuring and switching the strip or individual outputs, for example.
