The solution is designed to handle up to 45 - 50 whole fish per minute . This capacity is dependent upon a reliable and accurate infeed to the grader. Accuracy of batching will depend upon distribution curve of batched product.
Capacity, accuracy and performance in grading and batching is subject to the type and condition of the raw material and the condition and settings of the machine, as well as the operating environment. It also depends on the way the material is fed into the machine.
Process & Flow
* Slotted infeed conveyor with loading station. After de‐icing the slotted conveyor transports the fish from the in‐feed table on to the in‐line conveyor. The operators drag the fish over to the conveyor and put them in to the slots with the head facing the product direction. The speed of the whole system is based on the speed of these two operators.
* Inline infeed speed up conveyor This straight conveyor accelerates the fish after the drop from the conveyor slot, to create adequate space between each fish to allow for accurate individual weighing when passingover the dynamic weighing unit.
* Dynamic Weighing Unit (with batching) Dynamic weighing unit that weights the fish and selects the correct bin or gate for it according to its weight, then it sends it to the discharge unit. The dynamic scale has at its best and with the correct in‐ feeding a capacity of 45 - 50 pieces /minute.
* Batching bins with automatic closing the grader for Salmon and similar large products is especially designed with batching bins, collection trays for presentation of fish before packing into trays, and angled packing table.
