DIN 11864 is a range of stainless steel connections, specially designed for operations involving aseptics, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. It comprises of sub-sections- DIN 11864-1 which are aseptic pipe screws, DIN 11865-2 which are aseptic flanges and DIN 11864-3 which are aseptic clamps.
The aseptic connections are available in standard models. They have a slot in the shape of the letter 'A', provided for the insertion of an O-ring seal.
DIN 11853 is a range of stainless steel connections, specifically manufactured for use in applications involving food and chemicals. It comprises of sub-sections- DIN 11853-1 which are hygienic screws, DIN 11853-2 which are hygienic flanges and DIN 11853-3 which are hygienic clamps.
Aseptic connections and hygienic connections have differing axial length and also the basic manufacturing materials. However, they are perfectly compatible with each other and can be used in conjunction. DIN 11843 is the only version that offers blank parts.
These connections are supplied for DIN 11866 series A, B, C pipe dimensions.
