Spindle protection spiral WMB

WMB spirals are a conical movable protection for spindles, shafts and columns. WMB-Spirals can be used vertically, horizontally and in inclined position. The WMB-Spiralen program offers approx.1500 practical designs, developed and improved in constant dialogue with the users. Whether in general plant and mechanical engineering or in machine tool construction - WMB spirals have been proving for over 50 years in daily endurance tests that they can meet all the requirements of practical operation. Due to the overlapping of the windings, our spirals are mounted with the larger diameter facing upwards when installed vertically. For permanent synchronization, we recommend treating the WMB spiral with a wet spray oil.
