A thin optical glass plate is known as a beamsplitter. One side of the face is coated with a die electric thin film, with partial reflection properties. The other surface is a multi-layered AR coating with 45° or other specified incident angle. This beamsplitter consists of high damage threshold and low absorption. It is fit for the high energy laser operations, where the cemented cubes may not pass. We provide three plates with high guarantee splitting ratio. They are differentiated by the polarization of incoming & outgoing beams. The PBS plates, both s-polarized and p-polarized beams are obtained from the randomly polarized incoming light.
The laser line polarizing beam splitter plates facilitate low wavefront distortion, high damage threshold, and excellent high energy polarized performance. It is achieved by the use of procedures of advanced coating design & meticulous production. The most powerful energy laser systems use these optics.
