Adequate gas protection of argon or nitrogen is supplied under full vacuum to the casting chamber of the product. Gas are removed from the inverted flask reducing or even eliminating porosity due to gases and hence crucible life is prolonged, gold and platinum alloys are prevented from oxidation by the presence of argon/nitrogen.Self-stirring effect is provided with medium-frequency induction so as to arrive at top-to-bottom homogeneity of the whole cast tree. Power is adjusted by an accurate computer-controlled PID when the temperature set approaches accuracy and hence overshooting is avoided. Direct and seamless entry of molten metal to the flask is ensured by a dynamic double-swing arm thereby producing dense castings of great quality. Parameters like precise controlled metal temperature, speed of the centrifugal arm, acceleration, vacuum/gas pressure can be programmed and stored in the machine. The device works on totally automated or semi-automated cycles. The operator is required to set the parameters in the automated cycle.
