The Platinarum VAC by Aseg Galloni Spa is a Centrifugal type casting machine which is equipped with a MOSFET system. The unit is under a full vacuum along with the precise inert gas protection. The main highlight of this vacuum is that it removes the gases coming from the inverted flask which minimizes gas porosity. Also, it can increase its crucible life. The component such as argon and nitrogen prevents oxidation of gold and platinum alloys. This specific unit benefits from a medium frequency induction melting having a self-stirring effect which guarantees absolute homogeneity coming from its top up to bottom of the cast tree. In terms of the technical details, the product comes with a platinum casting temperature control having an infrared read-out up to 2100 °C (3812 °F).
