GSZ 2 - Greenough-Stereo-Zoom Microscope
Stereo-Zoom Microscope for Technics, Biology and Hobby
The GSZ 2 is a Stereo - Zoom Microscope after Greenough (Greenough type). There are two objectives, mounted together as a pair, with an 11° angle between them. Both eyes see the sample in a different angle, so that a stereoscopic effect, a three-dimensional image impression occurs.
The lenses are characterized by a high optical performance, a large flat field of view (field of view = 250) and a high depth of focus with a good chromatic aberration correction.
Magnification table
The following magnification table is showing possible magnifications and object fields Ø (mm) in combination with different eyepieces and supplementary lenses.
Equipment/Variants
The microscopes GSZ 2 can be configured individually with different stands, illuminations (reflected or transmitted light) based on halogen or LED, Photo-Adapter about the eyepiece cone, supplementary lenses, different positioning stages (e.g. for measurement tasks), polarization…
The GSZ 2 is a versatile microscope, which because of its upright, laterally corrected images and stereoscopic observation is suited for all users, who wish to observe their objects in three dimensions with lower magnifications or to work/handle/manipulate under the microscope.
