Our Gauge Hatches are engineered to offer secure access for dipping or sampling from storage tanks as needed. We present two specific models to suit a wide range of operational demands, and additional customisations can be catered to on request. Our first model is an open-hinged variant that doesn’t hold any vapour pressure. It is most effective when paired with Free Vents, creating an efficient and convenient solution for routine tank inspections and sample collection. The second model we offer incorporates a lockdown feature, making it compatible for use with pressurised tanks. This sturdy model can withstand pressure up to 3 psig. It utilises air cushion seat design ensuring top-tier sealing and durable performance. Additional models available include the Free Vent, Goose Neck and Weather Hood Free Vent •Hinged Cover (Model 6000): Affords access for gauging or collecting product samples from storage tanks. The Model 6000 series is thoughtfully designed with a non-slip foot lever surface to ensure safety while opening. As a practical feature, the cover will close automatically due to gravity when pressure on the foot treadle is removed. •Locked Down Hinged Cover (Model 6100): Crafted for use on tanks filled with non-volatile liquids and at the tips of vent pipes. These Free Vents ensure efficient flow capacity to optimally protect your tank. Each of our Free Vents comes with a wire mesh screen that serves as a barrier to prevent foreign objects from entering the tank or pipe opening. The weather hoods of these vents are easily removable, facilitating effortless inspection of the vent and the wire mesh screen.
