The perfect functionality of the boiler safety equipment can thus be proven at any time. The term BOSB stands for “operation without constant supervision”. This is a device for monitoring the boiler and for boiler house security. Some of the limiters for monitoring the operating parameters of the boiler are tested during operation, WITHOUT putting the burner out of operation. This is only switched off after 720 hours or after every tenth test, provided that no regular shutdown has taken place in the meantime. The standard check must be carried out cyclically at least every 72 hours. If a test is completed positively, the running time starts again with 72h from the beginning. Specialist manufacturer.
