Description

IFC/SM converters implement IGBT technology and are the evolution of the PFC group of converters. These converters are generally used in the applications that require high powers and where high performance is required. Excellent performance is preferred in various applications (heat treatment of metal parts, continuous heating of wires, bars, pipes, etc., preheating in rolling mills and forging plants, continuous pipe annealing, large-capacity melting furnaces, etc.). The M.F. converter is commanded by a system of microcontrollers that control and manage a modular installation configuration. It manages the correct piloting of the IGBTs, ensuring low loss switching (with soft-switching technique) to the resonance frequency of the load
