Atlas Copco BLM Joint Simulator Bench AD ensures highest flexibility in evaluation of tools. It supports evaluation of DC electric, clutch, impulse and battery tools and torque wrenches. The behavior of an actual joint is simulated by the hydraulic brakes. This helps in reproduction of stiffness from hard to soft. The enables tool testing as per VDI/VDE 2647. The device enables simple and fast testing of machine capability (Cm, Cmk) in an actual shop floor environment. This is possible without any production interference that is caused by on-the-line product testing. The simulator features a simple and easy-to-use, huge LCD touch screen. Battery drain is minimized as it takes only 15 seconds for the high-performance hydraulic pump to fill the pressure accumulator. All operator connections, for example printers, Ethernet, outside in-line torque transducers, USB and serial are managed by the connector panel.
