The DDR2 DRAM module from ATP is a memory stick that was reduced by half compared to the DDR1 generation for a given bus speed. The working voltage was decreased from 2.5 volts to 1.8 volts to reduce power consumption.
The units are available in various forms such as: 240 pin full-sized DIMM, 200 pin So-DIMM, 240 pin Very Low Profile (VLP) DIMM, 244 pin Mini-DIMMs, and 240 pin FB-DIMMs. The memory can store from 512 MB up to 8 GB. It is supported by Chipkill and it can avail in single, dual and qual rank of options.
