The speed of the infeed conveyor belt is synchronized with the output speed of the compensating stacker. The stacks are transported from the conveyor belt to the stop, pressed, aligned and banded. The side guides can be precisely adjusted to different formats using a scale. The integrated thermal transfer printer prints variable information directly onto the bands.
