This model of filter press automatically manages the filtration cycle. The presence of probes and sensors that measure the most important values ​​of the filtration cycle allows a total automation of the operation. It is also possible to edit and customize the operating parameters in order to obtain the best filtration cycle for the kind of sludge being treated: the PLC together with the HMI interface allows a rapid changing of the process parameters. The opening step of the single filter plates is also automatic at the end of the cycle and takes place by means of a special pair of carriages with special hooks. The two carriages take a single plate at a time and bring it to the open position. As an option, the shaking system of the plates can be installed into the carriage once they have been taken. This type of machine is particularly suitable for sludge that are difficult to filter, with long filtration times and which remain attached during opening. The automatic flapping system allows the mud that has remained attached to the filtering cloths to fall.
