Soil pH is very important in agriculture and gardening since it determines the quantity of dissolved and thus available nutrients on earth, and the growth of some beneficial bacteria that are unable to survive in very acid or very alkaline soil. Soil pH & moisture meter is a portable, strong and very easy-to-use instrument that gives fast and in situ readings and requires no sample, solution, battery or external power source. The sensor is located in a tapered tip; when inserted into soil the instrument registers the pH value on the upper scale. The lower scale shows the degree of moisture when the lateral button is held pressed. The model with probe allows putting the sensor in the soil so as pH and moisture can be measured at different depths.
