Since late 90’s Auxitrol Weston has developed a unique expertise in measuring temperature in icing conditions. Our heated temperature sensors are used on major engine programs for inlet and compressor temperature measurement or for measuring Total Air Temperature in aircraft air data systems
Our experts have a deep understanding of recent certification requirements for icing conditions. Our heated temperature sensors are developed and tested in our in-house state-of-the-art icing wind tunnel that meets the latest standard for icing conditions, coupled with numeric analysis tools. The body of the sensor is made from our patented RoHS Compliant material.
Each de-iced temperature sensor needs close cooperation with the customer to adapt it to the application and ensure that de-icing is maximised and well understood. These sensors can be made available in a selection of different shapes to adapt to their location or to the size to of the engine, in single or dual channel configurations, with or without a pressure port as well as in AC or DC versions.
