The operator feeds a plate into the machine on one side and exits on the other side. After placing the plate in the machine, it will then be transported automatically through the inline processor. This process is automized with sensors that measure the plate ensures in a high output capacity. The plate is washed out with a strong water flow in a mixture of water and 2% soap. The Cosmoline has several adjustable round brushes, one large plate brush for an increased coverage and rotates clockwise and counterclockwise. A second brush rolls over the plate to remove any left-over residue to ensure clean and ready to use results. As a last step, the machine dries the plate with hot air, leaving you with a perfectly processed flexo printing plate. It is possible to filter the photopolymer from the water by using our optional membrane filter. This is not necessary for letter press plates. A centrifugal cleaning system is standard with this machine and is a sustainable option. All machine settings are adjustable to your situation.
