Scan, Print, and Apply an RFID-encoded label with one mobile handheld device Avery Dennison’s Pathfinder 6059 with RFID is an intelligent one-piece inventory management tool. This handheld mobile device has the capability to scan a package, retrieve the package routing information, encode RFID technology into the inlay of a label, and finally the ability to print the RFID-encoded label to apply to the package. By applying the barcoded or RFID-encoded label which holds detailed source information, each package can be sorted appropriately, tracked and accounted for throughout the supply chain. In sorting logistics, the Pathfinder allows the user to capture shipment data, cross-dock, and route product efficiently and effectively, ultimately optimizing warehouse operations.
