The manipulator is a independent equipment that acts as a slave to the press for the production of dished bottoms. The manipulator performs all movements in synchronism with the hydraulic cylinder of the press. The movements can be simultaneous or single and their logical sequence determines a cycle for the execution of dished bottoms for tanks starting from sheet metal discs.
Manipulator
Standard configuration of the manipulator:
The manipulator is made up of an electro-welded metal structure that moves horizontally on rails on which the following groups are present:
Front support arms with horizontal opening and closing adjustable by hydraulic cylinders according to the diameter of the bottoms.
Bottom containement rolls, mounted on the support arms, with up and down adjustment controlled by hydraulic cylinders.
Rolls for bottom rotation.
Rear lever arm (s) to support the bottom.
All the control devices are centralized and interfaced to the press in a single control panel, allowing a single operator to perform and control all the work phases.
Fully electronic – hydraulic machine.
Semi-automatic cycle for moving the discs synchronized with the press cylinder.
Double hydraulic cylinders for the opening / closing movement of the fron arms.
Double hydraulic cylinders for the up / down of the fron units.
No. 2 motorized rolls in vulcanized steel, for the rotation of the disc.
Hydraulic motor directly coupled with each rolls.
Hydraulic cylinder for raising / lowering the rear lever.
Hydraulic motor for the translation of the rear roll trolley.
Electric motor for forward / backward translation of the front manipulator.
