The RGX-840 4G-Wireless product line is specifically designed for IoT and cloud coupling, telematics, vehicle data capture, preprocessing, storage and transmission applications. Minimum power consumption, fanless operation, a 1.2GHz quad core processor, up to 128GB flash memory, a rugged and small metal housing and an extended operating temperature range characterize the RGX-840 computers. Thanks to the modern Linux system, the systems are flexible, quickly and easily adaptable to specific tasks. The RGX-840 embedded computers are also fully RPi software compatible. For RGX-840 all the tools, software and all the know-how of the RPi are available. Thus, the realization of applications is very fast and extremely cost-effective. Prototype applications on RPi can be seamlessly transformed into a professional industrial application. The systems feature high-speed 4G / LTE wireless Internet connection and GPS / GLONASS state-of-the-art positioning. Up to 3 CAN interfaces, RS485, RS232, USB, LAN and I2C ports, digital inputs and outputs and analogue inputs are available for vehicle coupling in several product variants. In addition, the RGX-840 products are equipped with an accelerometer and a temperature sensor. The wide-range power supply input of 8-40 volts, optionally also offers an intelligent powercontrol function. So the system can e.g. switched on and off with the ignition circuit of a vehicle and thus a shutdown request to the operating system can be triggered. Various mounting options and the small housing dimensions allow the safe and stable installation of the RGX-840 vehicle computer even with limited space.
