AVC series grizzly feeders are vibrating feeders suitable to feed any primary crusher, especially when large size materials are mixed with a high percentage of fines: particularly suited for dry materials or with very little percentage of humidity.
AVC feeder mainly consists of a rectangular steel casing whose bottom, for about half of its length, is sealed by a heavy section wear plates, while the remaining part is formed by grid bars for anti-clogging and pre-screening. The top screen deck is provided with a series of bars allowing to select the material by removing the soil and the fines which may otherwise overfeed the crushing machine downstream.
The support of the vibrating frame is made of helical springs. The oscillations are given by a vibrating unit place underneath the casing. The amplitude of the oscillations, and therefore of the output, may be adjusted.
