Granulator compactor

The Compression Roll provides a final consolidation and gauging of the sheet before the oven. The unit compacts the product to the desired thickness after it has been fed onto the oven band by the Feeder Spreader. The unit consists of: Compression roll housed in a stainless steel support frame Variable speed, inverter controlled outboard mounted AC geared motor drive Manual roll height adjustment about a pivot point, allowing for product thickness control A manually operated lifting wheel that enables the compression roll to be lifted away from the oven Stainless steel mesh covers Modifications to the Compression Roll design can accommodate customers’ requirements to include a stop-to-limit adjustment, increased width to 1,600mm, grease tray and the provision for a PTFE sleeve
