Baltech's OA-5000 Minilaboratory system calculates oil dielectric constant values. Oil checking operations are performed simply and efficiently. Once new engine oil samples are taken, dielectric properties are immediately measured. Since oils are pure dielectrics and their constant rates are next to zero, it should be noted that oil dielectric constant rate checking operations are the most efficient analysis methods. The OA-5000 is integrated with digital and color scales that display used oil quality, in direct comparison with the new value. It features a < 95% repeatability, resolution rates of 1 (HI) and 0.6 (LO), and a built-in 9-V, alkaline battery, compliant with international IEC 6LR61 standards. It also sports dimensional measurements of 250 mm x 95 mm x 32 mm (9.8 inches x 3.7 inches x 1.3 inches), a weight of 385 g (14 oz), and mineral and synthetic oil treated oil types.
