Description

Application Detection of Gamma-rays in nuclear energetics and environmental control, in industry and scientific research, in nuclear medicine and other applications when the user is dealing with small amount of sample and is willing to have better efficiency if to compare to regular Coaxial HPGe detectors. The main difference of GWDX detectors is that they are showing not only better efficiency but also way better energy resolution at 122 keV. Features • - 15% - 70% and higher efficiency HPGe Well-type detectors are available • - Energy range from 20 keV to 10 MeV • - Well materials: Aluminum • - Thin “dead” layer to provide excellent efficiency • - Built-in or Remote Preamplifier types are available depending on application • - Almost 4π geometry measurement • - Low instrument background • - High energy rate up to 200000 MeV/s • - Excellent peak symmetry & high resolution • - HV supply protection if detector is warm • - High count rate indicator • - Variable cryostat design modifications DESCRIPTION Detection of Gamma-rays in nuclear energetics and environmental control, in industry and scientific research, in nuclear medicine and other applications. Dead layer of the GWDX detectors inside of the well is thinner if to compare to GWD detectors. Therefore, lower limit of the energy range for this type of detectors is way lower than of GWD well-type detectors and is much lower than 20 keV. Moreover, special production technology of GWDX detectors allow to guarantee energy resolution at 122 keV not worst than 750-850 eV. Energy range of GWDX HPGe well-type detectors can reach 5 keV.
