The AD STAR® is a highly resistant laminated single-layer woven polypropylene bag in brick shape. It is solder-assembled (no glue or stitching) giving it great resistance (lower breakage rate than paper bags) and perfect water-tightness. It is commonly used as a replacement for paper bags to pack powders (cement, calcium carbonate) in tropical areas. AD STAR® bags can be produced with valves or open mouthed. Polypropylene bags are mainly used for packing in the animal nutrition sector as well as for seeds and fertilizers. They may be with or without gussets, with stitched or cardboard bottom, open mouthed or with a valve. The polypropylene bags can also be laminated with or without inner bags. They offer great resistance to tearing and abrasion.
