Description

Bartz scrap saws are used to quickly and efficiently cut longer sections into manageable parts so that these can be recycled internally. The saw demonstrates its full usefulness especially when used in addition to the Bartz plate saw. The scrap sections placed on to the saw system are automatically cut to the required length and stacked into scrap containers that can be filled consecutively. The sections can then be easily removed with a forklift and recycled. The scrap pieces to be cut are automatically clamped before and after the saw blade, ensuring a rapid and reliable cut. The clamping, advancing and sawing processes are performed fully automatically. The whole system is made safe using protective devices, and features a sound-insulated operator cabin. • System dimensions L x W x H: - 30 x 4 x 4 m • Maximum cut-off length: - 20.000 mm • Saw blade drive power: - 45 kW • Cutting output: - 2 x 1.250 cm2/min • Saw blade lubrication: - Unicut minimum quantity lubrication system • Chip removal: - automatic chip extraction • Control system: - Siemens S7-300 Performance overview • High cutting performance • Short non-productive times through the use of two scrap containers • Small lubricant requirement thanks to minimum quantity lubrication system • High degree of automation • Comfortable operation and good view of working process thanks to operator cabin that moves with the work • Designed to match the Bartz plate saw
