Automated charging machine

Bartz offers two alternatives for charging tilting drum furnaces: • A movable charging unit with a loading container and a slider system • A movable charging unit with a loading container and a tilting system The charging unit is controlled from the central control panel. Once the furnace is lowered, the channels have been pivoted to one side and the furnace doors are open, the charging machine travels along a system of rails that runs up to a final position in front of the furnace. The charging container ends up inside the furnace. The charging material is then transferred into the furnace either by tilting the charging container or by means of a slider system. Up to 5 tonnes can be loaded into the furnace per charge.
