Mecodeflash 100 is a superior electrolytic process designed to loosen and remove the thin layer of mold bleed from plastic semiconductor packages.
This well-balanced electrolytic process will loosen the bleed or light flash, and supported by the hydrogen gas, generated on the metal surface, the bleed or flash will be largely removed. A high-pressure water rinse removes any remaining mold bleed and light flash, after the electrolytic deflash process.
The Mecodeflash 100 is a neutral or slightly alkaline, aqueous based solution, free from halogens, non-toxic and biodegradable. The process has no noticeable negative effect on the underlaying metal nor on the encapsulating platic material. Marking inks will not be dissolved or bleached.
Aluminium parts of the semiconductor leadframes will not be attacked.
