I．Performance and Purpose: It makes use of the end-face of steel pipe as sealing face to test defect and bearing strength of steel pipe. It is mainly used in the hydraulic testing of large diameter seamless pipe and a variety of welded steel pipes. When testing, pay attention to the balance of oil and water pressure, and keep a uniform speed and strength during pressing. When release water pressure，it is important to prevent from the sealing ring being inserted to damage by a sudden change of the pressure on the sealing end-face.
