YMKQ type (air-air cooling) high starting torque asynchronous high-voltage motors are developed by BPEG independently for the ZGM coal mills. This series of motors are optimal for the ZGM coal mills, and can also serve as drive motor of heavy-duty equipment in metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, building materials and other industries. The motor, although it is of small size, has more than 2.9 times starting torque, which enables it to start rapidly and smoothly even at 75% of the rated voltage, in thick coal seams and under high loading force; and it has the advantages of short starting time, low starting current, low rotor failure rate and strong overload resistance. Its various indicators, such as efficiency factor and power factor have reached the advanced level both at home and abroad.
