Description
The GBW-60 Computer Controlled Automatic Erichsen cupping tester is mainly employed to check the ductility of the metal sheet and strip. A PC must be used to operate the machine. Since the computer controls the test, the user can easily obtain, save, recall, or print the test report.
The design of the tester makes use of a servo motor instead of the usual hydraulic piston and cylinder to load the material. The oil pressure cylinder may also turned into a load cell for precision and reliability. The machine automatically stops when a crack appears, to allow for the inspection of the crack.
