The HBS-3000 model is manufactured by United Test, and is a digital brinell hardness tester which is a unified product combining the precise mechanical structure with the computer control by means of the optical, mechanic and electrical circuit system. It has a motorized test force application without weight blocks. The unit utilizes 0.5% accuracy pressure sensor to feedback the information and the CPU control system to automatically compensate the test force lost during the testing. It has a test force of 612.9 N to 29,420 N which also has a maximum height of 185 mm and width of 130 mm in test specimen. There are standard accessories in the unit which includes steel ball indenter, power cord, manual, 2 pcs hardness block and 20 micrometer eyepiece.
