Description

DJET safety relief valve TALIS offers the most effective solution for the protection of your networks against water hammer consequences. DJET safety relief valve protects the network by instantaneous discharge, into the air, of a large enough volume of water to limit the sudden wave of overpressure. The precise calibration in factory and the choice of materials not sensitive to abrasion ensure a customized long lasting solution against hydraulic shocks. Flanged type: DN40/60 (model PN16 only), DN50, DN65, DN100, DN150 and DN200 Working pressure: 10 bar, 16 bar, 25 bar Flange drilling according to standard EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2: ISO PN10 up to ISO PN25 according to working pressure Medium Temperature: from +10°C to +60°C Package contents: a calibrated, sealed DJET relief valve + a calibrating key + an installation manual + a pressure gauge (optional) CHARACTERISTICS Strong construction – Not sensitive to abrasion. Valve disc type – Held in place and centred by means of a diaphragm system, unaffected by friction or blockages. Mechanism protected against water splashes to prevent corrosion. Profiled valve disc – To initiate a reacting force proportional to the opening, to compensate the compression gradient of the calibrated spring and limit the overpressure needed for an instantaneous opening. Discharge into the air – With a conical body shape to prevent cavitation and obtain a maximum instantaneous flow rate.
