Protect a drinking water network against any risk of pollution due to a possible backflow of contaminated fluid. This return may be caused by a pressure drop in the network or a back pressure from a potentially non potable water network.
To be installed at the point at which the drinking water is supplied, after the water meter, for protecting the public network, in case of installations which are complex, dangerous and difficult to check: chemical products or metal treatment plants or hospitals. On a drinking water network for protecting water supply points for sanitary use: wash-basins, showers or kitchens.
Flanged type: DN50 to 250
Maximal Working pressure: PN16
Flanges: ISO PN10, ISO PN16 on request
Medium Temperature: from +10°C to +60°C (maximum temperature for backflow +90°C)
CHARACTERISTICS
Controllable device with pressure taps for upstream and downstream pressure checks.
Tested on 25 000 cycles of opening/closing with a pressure variation of 0 to 16 bar.
Head loss within the requirements of the standard.
Horizontal of vertical upwards possible installation.
