Description

Belotti MDL 5-axis cnc centers are used with great versatility for milling patterns and moulds in light alloys and can be utilized for trimming large-size structural parts in composite materials. The MDL Series is an advanced high-speed 5-axis CNC machining center that ensures maximum productivity in milling models and prototypes and finishing large-scale moulds and aluminium/composite parts for the aerospace industry. The adoption of 5-axis heads equipped with torque motors, optical lines on linear axes and structures with very high rigidity enhance the precision characteristics and finishing quality of the machining. The options available to ensure optimal cleaning conditions and safety of the working environment include: total enclosures vision cameras in the spindle housing for checking the work cycle and monitoring unattended machining suction system with motorized hood lubricating-coolant system with chip evacuator Sectors Railway Accessories Total enclosure with moving roof The total enclosure, made of sound-absorbing panels, is designed to guarantee compliance to the current European noise rules for machining centers. The automatic upper doors have a suitable opening for loading of parts through bridge crane. Manual lower doors have a wide opening to enable loading of pieces according to the machine strokes. Upper rolling shutter Motorized rolling shutter that limits the escape of chips from the workstation area, making the opening and closing task easy and quick and allowing the overhead travelling crane loading. The special translucent fabric guarantees ample light in the work area, already artificially illuminated.
