Description

Benzlers series C is a combination gear where the first step is a gear step & the last is a worm gear. The solution involves an energy-efficient bevel- gear motor that offers high torque capacity & high gear ratio in a very compact installation. The power range is up to 45 KW power and up to 10,000 Nm in output torque. The C switch is part of our SWIFT series and therefore contains the same modular components as e.g. our series M spur gears and series K bevel gears. Our modular component system means that we have been able to reduce our inventory, which makes the SWIFT product range suitable for retailers. The electric motor is always an IEC standard motor which is mounted in a hollow shaft via a composite bushing. As Benzler's SWIFT range has IEC motors as standard, we can keep a relatively small stock and still deliver at short notice. Use of IEC standard motors, which provides a large selection of electric motors, e.g. brake motors, the motor with extra cooling, extra energy efficient motors, etc. In addition, IEC standard motors make the end user's life easier by these motors are easy to come across worldwide. Benzlers series C can be delivered as 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-step gearboxes in all imaginable versions such as e.g. flange-mounted, foot-mounted, or shaft-mounted. Common equipment is e.g. backstop & encoder flange, All SWIFT gears have cast iron housing.
