The 6K series provides fast re-keying, by using an interchangeable core. The cylindrical knob is integrated with a threaded rose, for door thickness. Also, the device has a keyed knob, which can be removed after the core is rejected. The unit utilizes an internal steel mechanism, which is corrosion resistant for average atmospheric condition. Also, the knob has a reversible lockset, and a snap-on inside rose. In addition, the unit provides a backset sizes of 2 3/8"(62K series), 2 3/4" (63K series), 3 3/4" (64K series), and 5"(65K series).
