The demand for producing thermoformed sheet from PET bottle waste has been growing. This machine prepared by BG Plast has a single-screw extruder that is equipped with a gravimetric dosing unit, flakes and fresh material. The technology and these features allow for high quality sheets to be formed, with a minimum loss of intrinsic viscosity. The fresh materials and dosing unit keep the amount of drying and flaking down to reduce initial waste. Also, moisture is eliminated by means of a quality vacuum system equipped with a special pump. In this machine, the central extruder is fed with flakes and is complemented by a second extruder to be fed with the ideal material. This enables the production of multi-layer A-B-A in a respective 5-90-5% ratio.
