Shearing line KQ-M

Rotary Shear KQ-M is mainly used for safely removing start-up waste and for implementing large width changes. It is located in the corrugator immediately after the Double Facer and has very low maintenance costs, among other advantages. Thanks to a design featuring two counter-rotating knife bars, the Rotary Shear lets you safely cut even the heaviest corrugated board formats of up to 3,000 g/m². With its compact design, the KQ-M can be quickly and easily integrated into existing corrugators. Cutting speeds of up to 300 m/min are standard for the Rotary Shear from BHS Corrugated, making it compatible with all standard order change systems. Even higher order change speeds of up to 400 m/min can be achieved without the Rotary Shear by combining the Slitter Scorer with the unique HyperBlade from BHS Corrugated.
