The medium-viscosity, water-washable High-Performance Cutting Oil is used in cutting- and machining processes, for the non-aggressive drilling, cutting, punching and milling of steel, casting materials, aluminium or non-ferrous metals. The Cutting Oil features an efficient cooling- and lubricating effect, which improves the finish quality of the work pieces and extends tool/mould service lives. Sprayed from the aerosol can as cutting gel (Cool Cut Gel), it optimally adheres to the parts. In processes such as cutting or drilling, the surface material tends to form layers on the tools. The heat released by the metals touching each other may cause these deposits to solidify. These so-called built-up edges are prevented by using the extremely stable High-Performance Cutting Oil because it cools and lubricates. This way, tool wear and tear is countered and i.a. material processing inaccuracies or the breaking-off of tool parts are reduced. The odourless High-Performance Cutting Oil is based on high-purity paraffinic white oils that provide corrosion protection for the parts. After machining though, the oil is easy to wash off with warm water, which also facilitates use in food-related areas. The oil is of medium viscosity and keeps its consistency even at temperatures of -30°C/ -22°F.
