Biotage supplies pre-packed purification cartridges featuring SFAR 60 micron spherical silica (previously called KP-Sphere) for a range of Biotage development and scale up flash purification platforms to support different chemistries and scale up purification scenarios. These cartridges are also used in validated cGMP processes worldwide. Sfär is the Swedish word for "sphere" and the name indicates our range of spherical silica which has higher surface area and higher loading capacity than traditional amorphous (irregular) silica stationary phases. This stationary phase is very versatile and tuned for demanding larger scale applications where high sample loading and tighter elution bands / purer fractions is a requirement.
