Measures instantaneous precipitation intensities ( mm precipitation / min.) and outputs an intensity-dependant analogue signal. Includes holder to mount monitor to mast or wall. The precipitation is detected optically within a 25cms2 area. The output current is proportional to the precipitation intensity. Integrated heating avoids problems with snow or freezing.
