BLANKE SCREED MOVEMENT JOINTS consist of coextruded hard and soft plastic. It is used in screed where compressive, tensile or shear stresses could occur. As the extruded material the soft plastic between the hard plastic legs forms the movement zone. The screed expansion joint is pressed into the mudbed where designated by project specifications. The height of the joint used is dictated by the thickness of the mudbed. Set the surface expansion joint directly over the screed expansion joint.
