The BSEV series combines a super-elastic solid rubber tyre with a ribbed or zig-zag profile. With a hardness of 70 Shore A, super-elastic solid rubber is harder than Blickle’s standard elastic solid rubber and can be used in temperatures between -30°C and 80°C. It can also handle temperatures up to 100°C for a short period. The tough rubber compound with reinforced steel-wire in the rubber core remains stable on the rim, even under heavy loads. The tread is abrasion-resistant, provides protection against external injuries and guarantees a long service life. The highly elastic damping ring, which is also used for 3-component tyres, ensures that the temperature of the tyre does not get too high even under heavy loads and at high speeds.
The super-elastic solid rubber material is vibration-absorbing, offers very good floor preservation and is resistant to many aggressive substances.
Super-elastic solid rubber also provides outstanding operational comfort and a low level of rolling resistance, even on poor quality surfaces.
In contrast to pneumatic tyres, super-elastic solid rubber tyres are puncture-proof and maintenance-free. They also provide excellent stability and structural integrity. Due to these properties, super-elastic solid rubber tyres are particularly suitable for demanding applications.
Tyres in the BSEV series are available in diameters between 250 and 306 mm with 2 components and in diameters between 405 and 525 mm with 3 components. The tyres are available with a ribbed or zig-zag profile.
